Amy Shelton consultancy CONSULTANCY

Over the last 15 years I have worked as an art consultant on projects for organisations including The Crafts Council, contemporary ceramics journals Studio Pottery Magazine and Contemporary Ceramics, and for Gordon Hepworth Fine Art. I have also been an artistic advisor for MEMO (www.memoproject.org), an educational charity dedicated to building an ongoing memorial to extinct species.

Most recently I have been working with the Clod Ensemble, producing original artworks for projects; Red Ladies, (ICA 2007), and the Performing Medicine Season (2009).

I am currently working with sculptor Marcus Vergette as Project Manager for the Time and Tide Project, investigating sites around the UK coast to install bells to mark the rising water levels as a consequence of global warming, and developing the cultural links that will resonate between host communities where the bells are installed. (www.marcusvergette.co.uk).

I regularly work for The Arvon Foundation, facilitating and hosting the writing courses taking place at Totleigh Barton, Devon.
